Welcome to Platinum Revive. By accessing our website or engaging us for handyman and home maintenance services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
Platinum Revive provides general home repair, maintenance, and improvement services within the Northern Beaches area and surrounding regions of New South Wales. The specific scope of work for any project will be agreed upon between Platinum Revive and the Client via a written quote or service agreement prior to the commencement of work.
2. Quotes and Pricing
- Quotes: Any price provided during an initial consultation is an estimate based on information available at the time. Final costs may vary if unforeseen complications are discovered (e.g., hidden structural damage).
- Adjustments: If a change in scope or additional materials are required to complete the job safely, Platinum Revive will notify the Client for approval before proceeding with significant additional costs.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment Due Date: Payments are due immediately upon completion of work.
- Deposits: For larger projects or specialized materials, a deposit may be required upfront to secure the booking and purchase supplies.
4. Scheduling and Cancellations
- Appointments: While we make every effort to arrive on time, delays due to traffic or previous project complications may occur. We will communicate any delays as soon as possible.
- Cancellations: Please provide at least [24/48] hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- Access: If our technician arrives and cannot gain access to the property, a call-out fee may be applied to cover travel and time costs.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure work is completed efficiently, we ask that Clients:
- Provide clear and safe access to the work area.
- Clear away fragile items or valuables from the immediate vicinity of the project.
- Ensure a safe working environment for our technicians.
- Notify us of any known hazards (e.g., asbestos) prior to arrival.
6. Consumer Guarantees and Liability
- Australian Consumer Law: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.
- Workmanship Warranty: Platinum Revive provides a 90-day warranty on labor from the date of completion. This does not cover normal wear and tear.
- Materials: Warranties for materials (hardware, paint) are provided by the manufacturer.
- Limitation of Liability: Platinum Revive is not liable for pre-existing structural defects or incidental damage that occurs during the necessary course of repair/demolition.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
8. Changes to Terms
Platinum Revive reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
